Yup - It's Real

This is what we do in Texas for fun on a Friday night - ride a longhorn! Eva & Em
Em's turn
Go Eli boy!!! By the way - the longhorn is REAL. He was pretty docile and the cowboy off camera holding the rope to his harness was keeping him in check. The kids didn't care that he would move those big 'ol horns close to them when he turned his head to see them. They got on AGAIN when the lines of kids waiting disappeared.

February Fun

Eli (and mom) made a tank Valentine's box this year.
Em recycled hers from last year since she liked it so much. Everybody thought it looked like a cake.
My preschoolers being pirates - Arghhhh!
Eli and his coach at the trophy ceremony and pizza party.
Couldn't be happier!!! One more trophy for his desk. On to another flag football trophy.

Eva's Princess 4th Birthday Party

Eva posing by the entrance of her castle awaiting her royal princess court to show.
Looks like they're all here. Time to party like princesses.

They decorated their own royal cupcakes - yummmmm! Games included "Hide and seek the Fairy Godmother's wand" . . .
. . . dancing at the Princess ball . . .
. . . and knocking the snot out of the Princess pinata!
Opening presents was last - but not least. She got such cute gifts from her friends!

All in all, I think she had a fabulous Princess 4th Birthday Party!

Christmas in Arizona '08

Yes - I'm at the good ol' library once again. Thought I would try to get some pics on this way while I have a few minutes.
Here are some snaps of our fun in AZ over the holidays.
Sarah & Eva
Best of Buds - most of the time! hee hee
The Tuis & Santa

Eli, Zach, Sarah & Eva feeding the reindeer. The Hanchetts don't have a lawn out front, so we put the food on the driveway. Hey, whatever works, right?

Eva & Sarah trying on their new Pinkalicious crowns and wands that they got from the Tuis. Their outfits had to be pink too, of course.
Eli, Sarah, Zach, & Eva ready to book it down the slides at park just down the road from the Hanchetts.
The top of the 'mountain' just behind the Hanchetts. The Tuis & Hanchetts (minus Donna & Luke) hiked up the mountain to get a great view of the neighboring cities. Was quite windy at the top. The tree behind Mike had old Christmas ornaments on it. Someone was in the Christmas spirit on their hike. Too funny.
