EZNN Ez's News Network

Hi everybody! It's me, Ez, and I just hacked my way into mom's blog! YAY! Anyway, I'm here to give you the scoop on me, myself and I. I'm eleven right now (I'm sure mom told you that before, right?). I'm in sixth grade, have a lot of friends (two, to be exact.-_-), and I'm trying out theatre. Oh, yeah, I almost forgot. I have a girlfriend! She seems to shine with beauty, I loooove to push her buttons (if you know what I mean, hehehe), and I hang out with her every night past curfew. She never does anything I don't want her to do. She obeys my every command. My friends are all jealous , and her initials are N. D. S. You wanna know her name? Her name is... Nintendo DS! That's right, folks, I'm in love with my DS! That's why I barely know how to ride a bike, skate, or climb a tree. I hardly see the light of day. I feel like a bit of a vampire- just call me Edward. Oops, I think I hear Bella knockin' at the door. See ya!

More later,

Ezra

Eva the diva

I just love to make my girl's hair look really girlie girl. Unfortunely, Emma won't let me do that anymore with hers. So I have to get my fix with just Eva's mane. This was done with blue sponge curlers overnight. When I'm finished she walks around like a little princess. What a crack up!

A Hairy Situation (not really)

So what do you think of my new do? The jury is still out on this one. I have to take a double take now and then since I have been long and curly since the 80's. Oh my.

Where did the time go?

Deck them halls ya'll!

Yes, I knew this would happen. I have been side-tracked by life once again and haven't been keeping up with the blogging like I thought I could. OH WELL.

So mom and dad left today. I feel a bit 'vaclempt' (spelling?) even though we'll see them next Thursday. They took off with Eli and Emma in their hotel on wheels and will get to AZ hopefully by Thursday. Poor Eli had a good cry last night and slept with us while Emma seemed to be keeping it together - UNTIL after the family prayer this morning. She lost it as it was time to leave. I know they will be fine when they're on the road, but it was tough seeing them both so sad to leave us for 5 days. Especially Emma since she is the staunch one of the family and won't flinch even at the saddest of times.
We're over the moon to be able to see our Arizona clan soon. Baby Luke will be the highlight for my kids, well, that is until he starts to cry. They will get a kick out of hanging with their cuzzies that they haven't seen for 5 years. I just have to get through my next 2 preschool classes, class Christmas party, packing, and finding someone to feed the fish and we'll be good to go.
Hope you're having fun Eli & Emma. LOVE YOU HEAPS!!!!!

Congrats, Hanchetts!

Yeah - Congratulations to Donna and her tribe in Arizona. I asked the kids which name they like, Caleb or Luke. Of course, if you know us at all, it's a given that Luke was the hands down winner. My Star Wars fanatics had no other choice! We can't wait to see you and the little one in December. Love ya and God bless!
May the force be with you! tee hee

What am I doing?

Okay - so I can't be shown up by ya'll. I'm sitting here at 11:25pm wondering why I am doing this. Guess it's peer, or should I say family pressure, that makes me give in to the whole blogging movement. I've been anti-blogging up until now. Too much other stuff to get done. I guess I'm a sucker, though. Now I will have to make sure I keep updating it and not let this site sit and gather cobwebs. It is October, however, so that might look pretty neat. hee hee

Anyhow, all is well on the Tui front. We're not into tornado season quite yet, so I am mentally doing just fine. That will change in the early spring. Yes, I hate living in tornado alley, but that's another story.

We're anxiously awaiting the arrival of Grams & Gramps Horscroft in November for Thanksgiving. Emma can hardly stand it and keeps reminding me of how many days there are until Thanksgiving.

We're also looking forward to heading to Arizona for Christmas. I hope you Arizona folk are ready for the Tui clan. We're thankful to have family willing to put up with us for 2 weeks.
